Frequently asked questions

Why does my vet have to give permission for some things?

This is due to the veterinary surgeons act and an animal under the treatment of the vet for certain conditions must give a qualified nurse permission to carry out certain procedures on their behalf.

Why do I need veterinary consent to swim my dog even if it is just for fun?

I can’t treat your dog without it, even if it is for a fun or fitness swim. The consent form gives  me important information regarding your dogs health, and also if coming for hydrotherapy treatment it tells me  your dogs specific condition and requirements. By having this information I can also designed an appropriate treatment plan that best suits your pets needs.
